DR. FARZIN YAGHMAIE, M.D., M.A.
Board Certified Psychiatrist
Dr. Yaghmaie is the founder of Mindful Clinics and an Assistant Clinical Professor at the UCLA Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the American Board of Addiction Medicine. He specializes in the treatment of mood, anxiety, addiction, and sleep, and has numerous publications in the fields of neurobiology, gerontology, and addiction medicine. Dr. Yaghmaie completed his medical training and psychiatric residency at UCLA and completed his academic and research training at UC Berkeley. He has extensive experience integrating psychotherapy, behavioral therapy, and medications to treat a wide range of mental disorders. He is certified to prescribe Suboxone and has advanced techniques in chemical and behavioral addiction treatment.

SEPIDEH SAREMI, LCSW

Sepideh Saremi is a Mindful Clinician, licensed clinical social worker (LCS 66510), and certified running coach specializing in psychotherapy for depression, anxiety, addiction, and trauma. She works with adult individuals and couples. Prior to joining Mindful Clinics, Sepideh provided psychotherapy in an outpatient setting to individuals and families with complex medical, substance abuse, and mental health concerns. Sepideh completed her graduate training at UCLA, including an externship at UCLA Counseling and Psychological Services. She is certified as a running coach by the Road Runners Club of America and combines running/walking with talk therapy to help patients reduce their stress and improve their mental health.

ANDREA MIKONOWICZ, MFT

Andrea Mikonowicz is a licensed marriage and family therapist (MFC 52248) specializing in trauma, depression, anxiety, addiction and recovery, and helping patients develop corrective relationships and healthy attachments. She applies innovative techniques such as EMDR and somatic awareness Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM) for trauma, depression and anxiety. Drawing from many evidenced based treatments such as DBT and CBT she employs a diverse body of proven interventions to achieve treatment goals. In addition to working at Mindful Clinics she has a private practice supporting mothers, new parents, and children.

TRACEY MARTIN, MA OTR/L, JCTC
Licensed Occupational Therapist
Tracey Martin, MA OTR/L, JCTC, is a licensed occupational therapist specializing in mental health. She received a Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California and has been working with individuals with and without mild to severe and persistent mental illnesses since 1998. She has participated in advanced training and education in many diverse areas and is a Social and Independent Living Skills Trainer and a Certified Job and Career Transition Coach. Tracey Martin is part of the clinical staff at UCLA’s Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital.
