Mindful Clinicians provide personalized, high-quality mental health care.
Mindful Clinicians provide consultation and treatment via office visits, house calls, face-to-face video sessions, and phone sessions. Concierge mental health services offered include:
In-Home Consultation
As a concierge practice, Mindful Clinics offers house calls for patients who prefer the convenience of in-home consultation or cannot come to the office due to mental health or medical reasons. We can also meet patients at other locations of their choosing.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Also known as CBT, cognitive behavioral therapy is an evidence-based, active type of psychotherapy focused on thoughts, behaviors, and actions. It is mostly present-focused, and involves identifying and changing unhelpful ways of thinking, relating, and behaving so patients can lead more adaptive, healthier lives.
Mindfulness
Also known as Mindful Awareness, this is the practice of maintaining a nonjudgmental state of heightened awareness and acceptance of one’s thoughts, feelings, and sensations. Mindfulness can help patients with a wide variety of mental health concerns by increasing their ability to tolerate and regulate negative thoughts and feelings.
Relapse Prevention
Mindful Clinicians help patients identify the triggers that result in relapse and create a plan to prevent this. Patients are taught to develop insight into maladaptive behaviors, master healthy coping skills, and create a plan to effectively self-manage crises.
Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapists help people do the things they want and need to do, by identifying adaptations and routines that can help them function more effectively at work, in school, and at home. Occupational therapy provided by Mindful Clinicians includes social skills training, independent living skills, vocational coaching, and postpartum consultation.
Sober Living & Residential Treatment Referrals
Mindful Clinicians have established relationships with the sober living homes and residential treatment facilities in the Greater Los Angeles Area and beyond. When clinically appropriate, we provide referrals and consultation to patients needing residential services, coordinate care with treatment facilities and help patients and their family members understand the treatment process.
FAQ
What is concierge mental health care?
Are Mindful Clinics services confidential?
Yes, Mindful Clinics services are confidential, and the law protects communication between patients and Mindful Clinicians. We take patient privacy very seriously and know it is an important part of providing a feeling of trust and safety to patients. Phone contact, office visits, and house calls are all confidential, as are all records maintained about patient treatment. We cannot ensure the confidentiality of email or text communication and encourage patients to be aware of this. Information about patients is never disclosed without their written permission, with three exceptions:
Suspected abuse or neglect of a child, dependent adult, or elder adult. Mental health providers are required by law to report this to authorities.
Threats of imminent, serious bodily harm to oneself or another person(s), including that which could result in death or grave disability. Mental health providers must notify the police and inform any intended victims to ensure their safety.
Legal proceedings. Mental health providers may be required to release information about their patients if there is a court order or legal proceeding that compels them to do so.
Please contact your Mindful Clinician if you have any questions or concerns about confidentiality and we will be happy to discuss these with you.
